The island offers beautiful views over Bougival and the hills of Louveciennes. It features a park, sports complex, picnic tables and children's playground. The best way to get around is to leave the golf parking lot at the end of the island and walk along the narrow towpath to Chatou's Ile des Impressionistes. Sheltered by trees and on the banks of the Seine, it's a very peaceful place to stroll, disturbed only by passing barges on one side and the sound of golf clubs on the other.
