DOMAINE D'ORS
Home to a wide variety of flora and fauna
Located at the bottom of the Mérantaise valley, this estate was once Châteaufort's most important fiefdom, surrounded by a large landscaped park. Abandoned since the 1960s, the site has become a protected regional nature reserve. Today, you can still see the chapel (formerly an oratory), the outbuildings, the orangery, the guards' lodges, the gallery-bridge, as well as the mill and its annexes, which serve as exhibition rooms on the theme of water. This protected area is home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna.
