PARK AND GARDENS OF THE CHÂTEAU DE BRETEUIL
Château de Breteuil's 75-hectare park: gardens, orangery, labyrinth and remarkable trees. Classified as a "remarkable garden".
Classified as a "remarkable garden", the Château de Breteuil park extends over 75 hectares of greenery. A pleasant place to stroll, it offers visitors a number of paths: the Princes' Garden with its pond, pergola and fruit trees; the Orangerie and its thousand-box maze, a reminder of the 18th-century "bosquet chimérique", at the center of which sits Ma Mère l'Oye; the Romantic Park and its trail of remarkable trees; and finally, the formal gardens on either side of the château.
