Church whose stone portal is adorned with a magnificent statue of Notre-Dame de Clairefontaine
The former 14th-century church building disappeared in 1902, to be replaced by a new church dedicated to Saint Nicolas. Most of the funerary slabs and antique furnishings were transferred here, including a statue of the Virgin and Child, sculpted by the Duchess of Uzès herself, who had donated it to the commune. As for the stone portal adorned with a magnificent statue of Notre-Dame de Clairefontaine, the last vestige of the previous monastic church, it has found a new home in the grounds of Château de Montjoye, now owned by the French Football Federation.
