A commemoration on the banks of the Seine and Oise rivers, featuring colorful barges and weekend entertainment.
Since 1960, the Pardon de la Batellerie has been a tradition in the water city of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine. Like a pilgrimage, some one thousand barges, each more colorful than the last, gather around the piers for a weekend. The aim is to commemorate the memory of veterans who died for France. Activities are organized around the theme of water, and stands are set up on the banks of the Seine and Oise rivers.
