SAINT-MACLOU CHURCH
This listed church is located on the heights of the town, above the Montjoie Tower.
Classified as a historic monument in 1993, Saint-Maclou church is located on the heights of the town, above the Tour Montjoie. Built in the 11th century, then enlarged and renovated until the 19th century, it houses the relics of Saint Honorine, as well as the tombstones of the Lords of Montmorency, who ruled Conflans from the 13th to 17th centuries. The bell tower is the oldest part, except for the spire, which was rebuilt after being struck by lightning in 1923. Major restoration work has been undertaken in recent years.
