Castle with Gévelot greenhouse and large cellar, housing the collections of the museum of inland waterways

The château, located high above the old town and formerly a prieural dwelling, was modified in the 19th century by its owner Jules Gévelot, mayor of Conflans from 1871 to 1881. Neo-Renaissance in appearance, the château now houses the collections of the Musée de la Batellerie et des voies navigables. It was renovated in 2014. Its 5-hectare landscaped park, orangery, magnificent Gévelot greenhouse and Grand Cellier are popular places for strolling and relaxing.

très grand parc
Grand parc au cœur de la ville. Vous pouvez y accéder par le grand escalier (à proximité de la mairie) mais également par le coté "équipements sportif" (terrain de football et de tennis). Pour une promenade avec vue sur la seine ou un moment de repos sou les arbres. Rien d'original mais cela a le mérite d'exister.

On ne s'attend pas à découvrir un parc aussi grand. On découvre une vue dégagée sur la Seine, Conflans et sur les environs. Parc agréable en été pour une sortie en famille ou entre amis. De nombreuses activités pour les jeunes.
