ESPACE CHANORIER
If the first castle built on this site dates back to the beginning of the 16th century, it was in 1750 that Paul Gaultier de Beauvais, Lord of Croissy, built a classical castle which would later take the name of Chanorier, the last lord and first mayor of Croissy. The Chanorier area is now made up of several buildings: the château hosts temporary exhibitions, the new building the library, the archives and the music school. In the historic chapel, built in the 12th century, concerts and exhibitions are held. In addition to its children's play areas, the castle park has an educational vegetable garden for budding gardeners. In the outbuildings, there is the Grenouillère museum, the Local History Pavilion, a romantic lounge with two pianos and a room reserved for mosaic workshops. Each year, a new program is offered with Epicure Studio, the LEGO® exhibition specialist.
The tea room run by the association "Tout autre chose" has been replaced by an Italian restaurant.
