THE HENRI IV PAVILION
A residence in a unique neo-Gothic architectural style, privately owned and built for the Marquis d'Aligre in the 1840s.
The Pavillon Henry IV was built for the Marquis d'Aligre (1770-1847) in the 1840s, in a unique architectural style and showing the beginnings of neo-Gothic architecture. Today, this charming residence is privately owned, but its immaculate white facade, with its rosettes and serrated pinnacles, is still a sight to behold. The marquis's coat of arms and a bust of Henri IV are carved into the façade, a reminder of the hunting lodges built by Vert Galant in the forest of Le Vésinet.
