LA MAISON DE FER
Gite popular with hikers equipped with a bathroom and a kitchen.
Acquired in 1986 by the Regional Nature Park, the Iron House has been converted into a stopover gîte for hikers who wish to stay in the heart of nature. The gîte can now accommodate up to 18 people in rooms of 2, 4 or 6. It also has a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room. It was a contemporary and close friend of Gustave Eiffel, the engineer Bibarios Duclos, who designed this dismountable iron building which was presented at the Universal Exhibition of 1889 to promote modern housing.
