SAINT-MÉDARD CHURCH
The Romanesque church, home to a beautiful Burgundian statue of the Virgin of the Grape.
This Romanesque church, built between the 10th and 12th centuries, has no transept. Its vaulted nave was remodeled in the 17th century. Thanks to its excellent acoustics, the building regularly hosts concerts. Inside, note the polychrome painting on the keystone, adorned with the Templar cross, a beautiful 16th-century Burgundian statue of the Virgin with Grapes, a reminder of the town's former wine-growing activity, and a stained-glass window depicting the blessing of Clotaire I.
