Artificial hill turned green space in the heart of the city, with a breathtaking view of Paris. Venue for the Olympic mountain bike events.
The highest point in the Île-de-France region is located here (231 m above sea level): a man-made hill made from the embankments of the new town of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. A green space in the middle of the city that's well worth a visit, not least for its high biodiversity. Below: the Saint-Quentin leisure park and its lake, the Château de Versailles in the distance and Paris in the background. Many paths lead to the summit. The site has been developed as a venue for the mountain bike events of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
