VILLA COLLIN
Refined, picturesque, listed villa on the site of the destroyed château de Fourqueux.
Built in 1892, this residence was designed by architect Vaudremer for Armand Collin, renowned for his production of clocks and goldsmiths. The Villa is the fourth building to be erected on the site of the former Château de Fourqueux, destroyed in 1841. Its design is refined, picturesque and eccentric: pointed roofs, turrets, half-timbering, bay windows and large chandeliers. In the early 20th century, the villa was mentioned several times in architectural publications. It has been listed as a historic monument since 1998.
