HANNEUCOURT CASTLE
Château built in 1727 and home to a number of celebrities, with orangery, chapel, dovecote... Converted into apartments.
Built in 1727 by Moufle de la Tuilerie, the present château features an orangery, chapel, dovecote and fountain. Famous guests have visited the château, including Napoleon I, Casimir Périer and Mademoiselle Dosne, sister-in-law of Adolphe Thiers, who owned the château from 1880 to 1890. She contributed not only to its embellishment, but also to the development of the commune. Today, the château has been converted into apartments, and the orangery has preserved its 18th-century trompe-l'œil interior decor.
