LE BOTTIN DU MADE IN FRANCE
It is all new and quite green… This is the Made in France Wikipedia! This MIE Directory was founded by Mathieu Decroix, a young entrepreneur of Breton origin, whose family lived in Benin and Albania, who studied economics and management in the Paris and Ireland regions, before working in London for the LVMH group, and then joined a Paris consulting Firm. This is to say the expertise and openness of the character! Its company Citizen & Responsible and its reference mark Le Halles du Made in France® was officially launched in February 2015.
History: The origin of the case dates back to 2012. First of all, it is an association founded by Mathieu Decroix and Noémie Audouze to provide concrete answers to those who want to consume French. In two years of volunteer activity in the service of craftsmen and TPE of Made in France, the association quickly became a reference of the sector. Its added value lies in the quality of its content and the relevance of controls on the process of manufacturing the products highlighted. A unique expertise. In 2014, a participatory fundraising campaign led by the association collected more than € 5 000, the founders of the association added personal funds for 5 000 € as well. The budget allows to launch the collaborative 100% Collaboratif in France directory. In the face of the excitement aroused by this project, Mathieu goes through the course: the association became a company in February 2015.
Particularity: Citizens & Responsible, as a company, remain in the landscape of the social economy and solidarity with a goal: support and promote Made in France - for the "citizen" section - and Sustainable Development - for the "responsible" party. The offer developed by Mathieu was thought in this direction. The aim is to establish a fair rate in return for high value added services adapted to the stakes of Made in France.
Principles: To appear in the MIE Directory, craftsmen and businesses must show white legs: the share of added value created in France for their products must be at least 70%. Furthermore, the stage giving the product its main caractérisitique must also have been carried out in France.
Dissemination: in the Paris ephemeral shop (see the website) at your home by organizing a direct sale sale.
Most: An approach that values national companies, minimizes the carbon effect and should of course interest French eco-consumers and even tourists anxious for authenticity…
