FÊTE DE LA SAINT-MATTHIEU
During this weekend there is an important trade, craft, automotive, agricultural and poultry fair. This is the only time when you can see the famous Houdan chicken, a species that was once very well cooked but has become rare in the last ten years, that some enthusiasts still raise or cook with love. Of course, a carnival completes the setting. An ancestral event and always very appreciated. Its first edition dates back to the year of grace 1065! This edition - cancelled only during the ups and downs of history - will be the 950th, and is among the oldest in France!
