CHURCH OF SANTIAGO JACQUES-SAINT-CHRISTOPHE
Church with mural fresco dating from 1582, and a Clicquot organ in its original condition. Listed as an historic monument.
In the 11th century, the original church was named Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur. It was rebuilt thanks to donations from local residents and, in 1510, was given the second name of Saint-Christophe, the town's patron saint. Listed as a Monument Historique in 1840, it boasts a magnificent 1582 mural fresco and a three-manual organ - one of the few to have retained its original construction. Built by Louis-Alexandre Clicquot in 1734, the organ was listed as a Monument Historique in 1927.
