For over twenty years, Le Bistro Gourmand has been an institution in Jouars-Pontchartrain. You'll be welcomed by Hélène and Éric Gousseau, and their master chef Philippe Guérin. In a sober, elegant setting, come and enjoy modern gastronomic cuisine, prepared using quality local produce: farmhouse rabbit rouelle, monkfish gravlax, veal quasi or Iberian pork abanico confit - all fine, gourmet culinary creations. A fresh menu is offered at lunchtime, and is renewed weekly. Terrace upstairs.

Originalité dans la présentation des mélanges de saveurs très goûteux, de plus servis dans une vaisselle en céramique raffinée, le tout dans un décor chaleureux. De plus, service très efficace.

Le restaurant est surtout fréquenté par des groupes d'entreprise le midi en semaine. A deux, on se sent un peu perdus.
Les plats sont peu garnis, surtout en légumes.
Le café (5€) est plutôt cher.

Soirée magnifique tant sur l'occasion (fêter nos 1 an de relation avec ma petite amie) que sur l'art culinaire dont nous a fait part le Bistrot Gourmand. Les plats étaient divins, et le personnel au petit soin. Nous y reviendrons, c'est certain !
