Erected in the 13th century, the building has undergone numerous restorations and reconstructions over the centuries. The western facade features a Renaissance portal framed by Corinthian columns and topped by a triangular pediment. Inside, a 12th-century polychrome wooden statue of the Virgin Mary, known as "La Diège", is a masterpiece of Romanesque art. Its iconography is rare: Jesus is depicted as a child, not an infant, standing and carried by two angels. Four carved wooden choir stalls, a 16th-century Charité de saint Martin and a marble Saint Sebastian.
