Former fortified castle, of which only the remains of a main building with entrance flanked by round towers remain.
Unfortunately, it's difficult to retrace the history of Château des Bordes with any accuracy. Very little information is available about the history of this gigantic fortified building, built in the 15th century. Little has survived to the present day, but on rue du Château-d'Eau, high above the village, the remains of an annexed building with two round towers flanking the entrance can still be seen, probably dating from 1407. It's well worth a visit, however, to appreciate the majesty of the setting.
