MAISON GAILLARD
More than 50 years old, the House of Gaillard has the know-how and love of the land. With about twenty hectares exclusively devoted to the traditional fruit growing of the region, mainly pears, apples, raspberries, strawberries, cherries and plums, the company has been turning to organic farming for a few years now: with the exception of strawberries, which are still cultivated in soil, all the production is now labelled. One goes there with a large basket to be filled with all the available fruits, but also with vegetables (supplied by a market gardener from Les Mureaux), eggs (from the farm of Les Buttereries), honey (produced in the apiaries of Vaucouleurs in Septeuil), duck (foie gras from Bazainville), dairy products (from the Thiverval-Grignon experimental farm), cheeses (from the Tremblay farm) and many other local delicacies... the very welcoming Gaillard brothers are the specialists, according to them, in fruits with a high gustatory value! Lovers of good products, you've been warned! To find the so-called (rightly) greedy shop, you just have to go inside, and it's at the end, on the right.
