OSERAIE PARK AND MAISON BOUVAIST
A remarkable residence built between 1876 and 1879, set in the heart of the Oseraie park on the Chemin de Halage des Mureaux.
In the heart of the Parc de l'Oseraie, on the edge of the Chemin de Halage des Mureaux, the Maison Bouvaist is a remarkable residence built between 1876 and 1879 by architect Jules Saulnier for private owner Henri Michelet. Inspired by the Gothic style, this brick and millstone castel, with its polychrome facade and spire, is a shining example of 19th-century eclectic architecture. Elements of the façade are also inspired by Moorish architecture.
