LADIES' ISLAND
Île aux Dames or Limay Island, where the restaurant boat and the Île aux Dames bed and breakfast are moored
Île aux Dames is located between Limay and Mantes-la-Jolie, upstream from Île Aumône. It comprises several small islands: aux Chevaux, Champion, du Poiré, and its largest part - Ile de Limay. It is 3 km long and belongs to the commune of Limay, except for the downstream part, which belongs to Mantes. From the collegiate church to Val-Fourré, the island's wide, tree-lined banks have been reworked as part of a project to enhance the river's banks. The island also boasts two restaurants: Le Boucanier and Tie Break. A green and vintage stopover.
