THE CASTLE OF NEIGHBOURS
château converted into a conference center, with parkland, sports facilities and stadium.
Built in 1691, Château de Voisins was acquired by the Marquis de Cavoye, a childhood friend of Louis XIV. On Cavoye's death, the residence was occupied by the Princesse de Conti, and later by the poet André Chénier. During the Restoration, the château was demolished and rebuilt. At the end of the 19th century, banker Guillaume Beer became the owner and ran a literary salon. Finally, in 1946, BNP Paribas acquired it as a conference center. The park boasts a number of sports facilities, including a stadium.
