MAISON-ATELIER LUIGI CASTIGLIONI
Luigi Castiglioni's house in Maisons, whose garden is completely painted with his colorfully poetic frescoes.
Italian painter and poster artist Luigi Castiglioni cut his teeth as a set designer at La Scala in Milan, then with the great Fellini at Cineccita, and in Paris, where he became an illustrator and produced posters for Médecins du Monde and the International Red Cross. In 1978, he painted a monumental fresco on the walls of the Maisons-Laffitte police station. His garden and house, painted with his colorful and poetic frescoes, are open to visitors on a 1h30 guided tour.
