Created in 1999, this touring festival celebrates the blues and takes place in some thirty towns in the Mantois and Val de Seine regions.
Created in 1999 by an association based in Mantes and chaperoned by harmonica player Jean-Jacques Milteau, this is one of France's biggest blues festivals. Each year, some 50 concerts are organized in the communes of the Mantois and Val de Seine regions, notably in the Magic Mirrors tent in the grounds of Mantes-la-Jolie town hall. The festival is also open to other art forms, such as comics, to celebrate the history of the blues. Its vocation: to introduce a wide audience to the great timeless names, as well as new talent.
