CASTLE OF FAŸ
Castle on the heights of the Hautil which changed several times of owners, welcomes receptions, weddings and seminars
Built in the Middle Ages, the castle is located on the heights of the Hautil. It was razed by King Henri IV who offered the fief to the Count of Lysle, who commanded the wolf hunting team. The castle was partially destroyed during the Revolution and the chapel burned. Purchased in 1802 by the Count of Sainte-Marie, the building was remodeled and an English park was created. The castle changed owners several times. In 1970, the Roy family sold the castle to Mrs. Hamilton. Today, the property is used for receptions, weddings and seminars.
