The Maurepas covered market is a farmers' market located on Place Jean Riboud. The market hall suffered a fire in summer 2019, but the local authorities quickly took steps to enable traders to continue trading. A temporary market hall was set up close to the original site. The main guidelines are that the hall will be bright, enclosed and equipped with a high-quality roof. It will remain in the city center, and urban improvements will be made to integrate the forecourt into the public space and ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. Delivery of the new hall is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
