AUBERGE DE LA JUMENT VERTE
Traditional restaurant with rustic decor, home-cooked food and authentic recipes with a hint of the undergrowth.
An old-fashioned, family-run inn in the heart of a pretty little village with a medieval past. The setting is rustic, all stone and exposed beams, with the added bonus of a sculpture of a green mare in memory of the writer Marcel Aymé who gave his name to the place. The cuisine is traditional French, with everything homemade (right down to the bread!), tasty recipes and a generous seasonal menu. A very high standard of gastronomy and a very welcoming team. A must for a good time.

Je conseil
The Green Mare (La Jument Verte) is a charming restaurant who offers fine foods. The waitress welcomed us & was very efficient. The menu offers a wide range of meat & fish dishes. We started with an aperitif with Curacao & an appetizer of fish pâte. I chose crab with avocado on a parmesan biscuit for starter, for main course, I had lamb & for dessert, a chocolate delight. Highly recommend.
