SAINTE-MARIE-MADELEINE CHURCH
Church built in 1137, originally dedicated to Saint Fiacre. Romanesque portal listed as a Historic Monument.
The first church, built in 1137, was dedicated mainly to Saint Fiacre. In 1909, a storm weakened the steeple, and the mayor had it dynamited the following year. However, its fall caused considerable damage to the building and neighboring dwellings. The tower and steeple were rebuilt in 1912, while the nave was demolished a few years later. Today, the church's Romanesque portal has been listed as a Monument Historique since 1932.
