L’HÔTEL DE VILLE
From the former town hall built in the 1930 s, Michel Euvé, the architect who rehabilitated the city hall building, kept the entrance and the campanile. Inside, a mineral sculpture welcomes the visitor in the lobby. Outside, in the centre of the town hall, another sculpture, made of metal painted this time. It is signed by Nicolas Sahnes and was designed on the computer from the form of a previous work. The artist simply extracted the geometric structure which, once distorted, does not book at the centre of this basin only its "emptiness".
