This church is the first to be built in the new town of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Completed in 1992, it was designed by architect Michel Euvé, and represents the "soul of the city". Its façade is completely glazed, its geometry simple and modern, and its concrete structure unfinished. In the choir, the stained-glass window is reflected in the water, and the belfry reveals its bells, as if to better indicate the function of the building.
