This château, dating from 1415 and surrounded by 50 hectares of parkland, is home to Plaisir's library and music conservatory.
The château is mentioned as early as 1415, in the deed of sale of the property of the châtelaine de Neauphle to the Duke of Brittany. At the end of the 16th century, the building took on its current appearance, and was owned by Louis Le Tellier, physician to Louis XIII. In 1939, the property was acquired by Mr. Bourdel, who undertook the restoration of the residence, before its purchase by the commune in 1976. The 50-hectare park is now open to the public, and the estate is home to the town's media library and music conservatory.
