DISTILLERIE DU NOYAU DE POISSY
Three generations of Duval succeeded at the head of the company Noyau de Poissy before passing the torch to the company Pagès Védrenne in 1999. The latter continues to produce and to market the two famous Noyau de Poissy liquors,'Gobelet d'Argent ambré' and 'Sceau de Saint Louis blanc', which are made from apricot stones macerated or distilled in a fine alcohol, in the presence, depending on the recipe, of fine wine brandy, enriched with plants and subtly flavoured. The visit traces their history through a museographic space adjoining the distillery. You can discover old bottles, collections of photographs and old posters tracing the history of Poissy and also the history of the 2 versions of its stone liquors. Also exhibited: stills and old tools accompanying their exploitation. You will also discover two other spirits of the house: Noyau de Vernon and Liqueur de Paris.
