CHÂTEAU AND PARK DE VILLIERS
A park with a farm and a château with a neoclassical façade and superb mansard roofs, a place steeped in history in Poissy.
Château de Villiers, a large bourgeois house, has not had the most serene of histories: since its construction on the debris of an ancient château, it has been owned by the Hély d'Oissel and Ségur families, then rehabilitated as a military hospital during the 1870 war, then a vacation home for the children of the Kuhlmann company, and bought back by the municipality in 1976. Unlike the park and the small farm at the entrance, it is not open to the public.
