MEISSONIER PARK
Historic park with a beautiful pond, multi-centennial trees and a charming rose garden in Poissy, hosts various events.
Parc Meissonnier has successively been a monastery for the king, a strolling garden appreciated by illustrious poets, a farm and a leisure property. Acquired by the town in 1952, the 10-hectare park boasts a lovely pond, centuries-old trees and a charming rose garden. The painter Ernest Meissonnier once lived in the abbey enclosure, and his statue stands at the entrance to the park. A number of events are held here on a regular basis (concerts, markets, town festivals, etc.).
