In May, every year since 1906, Rambouillet has celebrated the lily of the valley for a weekend. There's a parade of floral floats, accompanied by orchestras, entertainment and a funfair that livens up the town's streets. The parade ends in front of the Château de Rambouillet, where prizes are awarded to the most beautiful floats. This century-old festival attracts more than 10,000 visitors every year, who come to meet the new Queen of Lily of the Valley and her runners-up. The highlight of the weekend: a grand pyrosymphonic show!
