KING OF ROME'S GARDEN
A garden that reflects, with a touch of legend, the glorious and tragic hours of the First Empire and of Napoleon 's son.
This memorial garden reflects, with a touch of legend, the glorious and tragic hours of the First Empire, as recalled by an inscription by Noël Tomi on a stele: "In this solitary park, in the shade of the tall trees, the little king of Rome, as a blond child, trod these paths, these marble staircases, and everywhere appears the image of L'Aiglon". In reality, Napoleon I's son, born in 1811, never stayed here. This 5,300 m² garden, bought by the town, has been redeveloped and now hosts a number of festive events.
