A stately home that retains a rustic feel, part manor house, part farm. Stud farm and ethological riding method.
A fortified seigneurial residence, the Manoir de la Cense (named after the taxes levied there) originally comprised several buildings around a square courtyard. At the end of the 19th century, the north side was destroyed by fire and the complex became a farm. In 2000, the site became a stud farm at the instigation of William Kriegel, and the renovated buildings were used to breed and train American horses. Ethological horsemanship is practiced here - a different approach to the equine world, steeped in psychology.
