ROSNY REGIONAL FOREST
Attention, historic forest! Managed by the green space agency of the region, the Forêt forest overlooks Mantises on the left bank of the Seine. Totalling up to 1 200 ha, it forms the single large wooded massif of the northwest yvelinois. It's not uncommon to cross the paths that pass her through hares and squirrels, and if you're lucky, maybe you're staring at a deer family. For tree lovers, diversity is not lacking: Pine, birch, oak, beech and chestnut form the playground for many bird species. There are several attractions such as the Châtillon Belvedere, which houses a 1900 World Exposition, or the remains of the Castle of Beurons, built around 1615 by Simon Letellier, Counsellor and Doctor of King Louis XIII.
