MAISON DU VAL - LES MAISONS DE CAMPAGNE * * * *
Quiet hotel in a restored chateau, with tastefully decorated rooms and suites, plus a host of nature activities.
This historic residence was once one of the hunting lodges in the Saint-Germain forest. Built for Henri IV, it was transformed into a château in 1675 by Hardouin-Mansart. Today, it has been restored to its former splendor and welcomes visitors to a magnificent 3.5-hectare verdant estate. Rooms and suites are comfortable and tastefully decorated, with the option of sleeping under the stars. Nature activities (stables, rosalies, fitness...) and table d'hôtes.
