LA VILLA EUGÉNIE DÉSOYER
Villa housing the town's Louis XIV Club for seniors, the Intercommunal Tourist Office, and Café des Arts.
Built in brick and stone around 1870-1880, this property belonging to Casimir-Léon Desoyer (1844-1919), mayor of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and director of a liquor factory, and his wife Eugénie-Cécile (1854-1944), was bequeathed to the town in 1929. One of its two wings houses a winter garden. On the second floor, the apothecary, with its superb 17th and 18th century woodwork, features an exceptional collection of earthenware and glassware.
Today, the villa houses the town's Louis XIV Club for senior citizens, the Intercommunal Tourist Office, and the Café des Arts.
