The Royal Armoury was built in 1816 for the training of the Gardes du Corps companies created by Louis XVIII. The entrance features a cartouche representing the royal coat of arms. The 50-metre-long hall is covered by a magnificent wooden framework in the shape of an inverted ship's hull, and features a remarkable gable. Owned by the army, the building has been managed by the town since 1990, for a 99-year period, and is regularly used for cultural events. Classified as a historic monument since 1993.
