PAUL AND ANDRÉ VERA PERMANENT FUND
André Vera's donation to the town in 1968 provides an opportunity to discover Paul's artistic output
Paul Vera, a painter and decorator, and André Vera, a self-taught garden theorist, have contributed to the influence of Arts Déco. André Vera's donation to the city in 1968 allows us to discover Paul's artistic production (tapestry, ceramics, illustrations, watercolours...) as well as the two brothers' garden projects. The interior of their dining room and office has been reconstituted identically to those of La Thébaïde, their property in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, which was entirely fitted out by the architect-decorator Jean-Charles Moreux, protagonist of a rational conception of modern decoration. The Workshop Fund is reported annually on a rolling basis.
