manor house restored by L. Silvy, now home to the Saint-Lambert municipal library, with period panelling.
This 17th-century manor house was acquired in the late 18th century by Louis Silvy, founder of the Ecoles chrétiennes. He restored and enlarged it, before donating it to the parish in 1829. It then became a large school for the village and its neighboring towns. The enclosure, with its monumental façade at the entrance to Saint-Lambert, houses the Regency salon on the first floor, with its period panelling. Today, the house is home to the municipal library, and its outbuildings are still used by elementary school children.
