THE FARM OF VALMARTIN
Go there and contact
This farm, still active, was the seat of a seigneury dependent on Villepreux. Abandoned during the Hundred Years War, the large building was sold in 1600 and used as the religious dependency of the Royal Ladies Abbey of Poissy. It was subsequently transformed into a farmhouse and housed in the th century, a Merino sheep Breed. In the Revolution, it will be sold as a national good. Its exterior walls, equipped in a chain, are limestone. The main body of the building was added two agricultural barns. The large charretière gate of the farm is now partly closed by a wall, but still visible.
