SAINT-DENIS CHURCH
Dedicated to Saint-Denis, attesting to the link that attached Senlisse to the abbey of Saint-Denis, the church was probably built in the th century. Its plan is simple, flat bedside, the nave is flanked by two vaulted collatéraux. The steeple, which rises against the north side, was once adorned with a clock clock, installed in 1770, which gave the hour but also the phases of the moon. During the holy week, a crécelle with six hammers replaced the bell. It will be observed above the portal of entry a beautiful Virgin to the sculpted Child, and in the church a body built in Utrecht in 1874, and installed there at Easter 2005, now making the centre of regular concerts.
