Devoted to education and research, the experimental farm of Grignon, an entity of the Agronomic Institute, covers 350 ha of cultures, and 2 ha of technical buildings. Twenty-five people work there, develop agronomic activities and perform tests in different disciplines to obtain quality products. To share its activities, the farm welcomes the public and unveils its animals and facilities. The visit includes a tower by the stables, the bergery, the dairy and its milking room, as well as the discovery of the milk circuit. The farm produces its own dairy products that can be found in a gourmet shop: pasteurized milk, cheeses, yogurt cheese and fresh cream. There are also products in the vicinity, biological or award-winning agricultural contests: seasonal fruits and vegetables, charcuterie and terrines, eggs, honey, fruit juice, poultry, chocolate and foie gras. Finally, the farm proposes different thematic days, on topics as diverse as the five senses, dairy products or biodiversity, for example. To further increase the educational side of the site.
