PARC DE LA MARTINIÈRE
A park with statues, columns and grottoes, it also houses a château and offers lovely views over the Seine valley.
The round towers take us back to the Middle Ages, and with good reason: the Château de Vaux-sur-Seine dates back to the 15th century, but it has been profoundly transformed since its construction, and its architecture has never ceased to evolve. It once belonged to the family of sculptor Carlo Marochetti, who restored the building and redesigned the park in the early 19th century. The park is filled with statues, columns and grottoes, which you'll discover as you stroll along its paths, offering lovely views over the Seine valley.
