THE CHAMPCLOS
Built in 1925 at the request of Madame Bergaud, this Norman style house is located on the vast land of Champclos. In the 40 s, the property was handed over to the Countess of Gâtines. Then in 1952, it was acquired by the Cargouet family. Later, the house will be rented to American students. It remained inocupée for many years and will be vandalisée. In 1990, she owes her salvation to the commune who bought her to make it a municipal and associative building. The property team is turned into a music school and a caretaker house. Since 1995, its 6 500 m 2 green park is open to the public: The town hall has recently begun landscaping to make it even more attractive (with children's games). In 2015, the roof and the facade of the building were themselves restored, allowing the residence to retain its charm of yesteryear.
